42 passionate football lovers, aged between 20 and 82, recently descended upon the shores of Lake Garda for an unforgettable four-day training camp. But if you think this was only about running drills and tactical formations, think again: this was a celebration of community, joy, and the shared madness that makes FC Swiss Re so special.

From sun-drenched morning warm-ups to late-night laughs over plates of pasta, the vibe was simple: good people, good football, and great memories. It didn’t matter whether you were a sprightly 20-year-old winger or a seasoned 82-year-old club legend - the energy was contagious across generations.

Even colleagues from our London Office made the journey to join the fun. Days were spent training hard, joking even harder, and nights? Well, let’s just say Garda’s beer supply may need some time to recover.

Off the pitch, we also went to watch the Serie A clash between Verona and Genoa. Though the match brought drama and fierce chants from the curva, our crew soaked in the experience with wide eyes and wide smiles. A football pilgrimage, Italian style.

But no story of this trip would be complete without a massive shoutout to Luca, the mastermind behind the magic. From organizing logistics to keeping the good vibes rolling, Luca was the heart of the operation. Simply put, this camp wouldn’t have happened without his tireless efforts - grazie di cuore!

Whether it was the epic President’s Cup shootout, the tactical talk over espresso, or the sheer joy of being around fellow football fanatics, every moment was a reminder of why this club means so much to all of us.
