A Busy Football Autumn Ahead

Upcoming Events: read more here

After the summer break, the FC Swiss Re calendar is filling up again. From our annual General Assembly and the International Tournament to the weekly football sessions and our traditional Season Closing, there is plenty to look forward to.

FC Swiss Re AGM – August 27

We kick things off with our Annual General Meeting (GV) on Thursday, August 27. Besides looking back at the past season, we will discuss what is ahead for the club and set the course for the coming year.

All members are encouraged to join – and, as always, the formal part will not be the only reason to come along.

International Tournament / Grümpi – September 5

One of the highlights of the year follows shortly afterwards: the Swiss Re International Football Tournament on Saturday, September 5 in Greifensee.

This year's event combines our traditional Grümpi with the International Tournament, bringing together teams and colleagues from different countries and backgrounds for a full day of football, competition and fun.

Get your teams ready – we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the pitch!

Weekly Football – Join Anytime

In between the big events, there are plenty of opportunities to play. Our regular weekly schedule continues throughout the season:

  • Monday evening: A-Team in Adliswil
  • Monday evening: Allstars at Schulhaus Gabler
  • Tuesday & Thursday lunchtime: Football at Sihlhölzli
  • Thursday evening: Indoor football at Kantonsschule Enge

Whether you are looking for competitive football or simply want to kick a ball around with colleagues, there is something for everyone.

Season Closing – November 27

And finally, make sure to keep Friday, November 27 free for our FC Swiss Re Season Closing Event.

We will wrap up another football year together, look back at the highlights – and most likely discuss a few goals and assists very differently than the official statistics remember them.

Save the dates, join us on the pitch and stay tuned for further details!
